Victim forced from Mercedes E220 in terrifying carjacking

A victim was forced out of their luxury motor during a terrifying carjacking in Solihull.

West Midlands Police launched an urgent investigation after the offenders, who were in a Black Ford Fiesta ST, pulled alongside the victim’s Mercedes in Colesbourne Road on Wednesday 21 August.

The offenders have then climbed into the vehicle before making off after the raid at around 4am.

A tracking device – which was fitted to the car – was last tracked to Deepmoor Road in Stechford.

Officers have stepped up patrols and will be checking for any CCTV and speaking to local residents.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police has urged motorists to ‘lock their doors’ when driving.

They said: “Please when in your vehicles ensure your doors are locked and that you park in a secure and well lit area particularly when it is late at night or early hours of the morning.”
