Dunelm set to open Solihull store in December

One of the largest homeware retailers in the UK, Dunelm, is opening its Solihull store on Tuesday 6th December at 9am.

The new store, which is 30,500sq ft, is situated on Mell Square (previously BHS).

It will be officially opened by the Mayor of Solihull, Councilor Mike Robinson and representatives from Dunelm’s new charity partner Home-Start UK. Pupils from Greswold Primary School choir will provide musical entertainment during the opening, performing Christmas carols for shoppers.

The first 50 customers through the door will also each receive a free goody bag – and free mince pies will be handed out throughout the morning.

Dunelm Solihull store manager, Jason Lunt: “We are really looking forward to welcoming our Solihull neighbours to our opening event on Tuesday 6th December.

“We really hope the community will pop in to see their shiny new neighbour, and enjoy browsing our store full of great value homeware and furniture for all tastes and budgets.”

Dunelm is making a significant investment in the local Solihull area and will offer over 20,000 home furnishing products, across homewares, furniture and seasonal Christmas decorations and gifts.

The store’s Made to Measure Bespoke Service will also be available, which allows home makers to choose from over 4,000 fabrics to create curtains, blinds and accessories.

Expert in-store advisors will be on hand to help provide customers with advice.
