Homewares retailer Dunelm is coming to Solihull and looking to recruit staff

Dunelm, the homewares retailer, will be moving into Mell Square in Solihull on Tuesday 13th December – and is looking to recruit over 50 new members of staff to join its team.

The new store will be 30,500 sq ft and will have an impressive separate mezzanine floor.

Dunelm is making a significant investment in the local Solihull area and will offer residents over 20,000 home furnishing products, across homewares, furniture and garden.

Dunelm’s Made to Measure Bespoke Service will also be available, which allows shoppers to choose from over 4,000 fabrics to create curtains, blinds and accessories.

Expert in-store advisors will be on hand to help provide customers with advice, whilst offering the great value.

It will stock products from favourite household names such as Dorma, Fogarty, Joseph Joseph and Brabantia, plus new and exciting designs from Dunelm’s own exclusive Elements and Hotel brands.

Dunelm Solihull store manager, Jason Lunt, said: “We are looking forward to becoming a new neighbour to the Solihull community.

“There is a strong retail offering within the town but we’ve spotted a gap in the market for Dunelm’s extensive collection of homewares and hope we can cater for the diverse range of shoppers within the community.

“We have an exciting opening day planned and we hope the local community will join us at our official opening day on Tuesday 13 December.

“In the meantime, we are looking for enthusiastic members of staff to join us as we become a part of the community and have a range of jobs available from sales assistants to team leaders.

“Those interested should visit our website for further information.”
