Motorcyclist suffers fatal injuries in RTC

A motorcyclist has sadly died after a collision with a car last night on A3400 Stratford Road in Wootten Wawen.

Emergency services were called around 8.45pm on Monday (25th April) to a RTC involving a silver Ford Fiesta and a Kawasaki motorbike.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, died at the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find a motorcycle which had been involved in a collision with a car.

“The motorcyclist, a man, was in traumatic cardiac arrest. The medic and ambulance staff worked as a team to deliver advanced life support on the man.

“Sadly, the motorcyclist couldn’t be revived and he was confirmed dead on scene.”

A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
