Two further reported incidents of children being approached by strangers

There have been two further reported incidents of children being inappropriately approached by strangers in Solihull.

This is a forwarded email we have received from a local parent.

The email was sent today, Thursday 27th March, to parents of pupils at Cranmore Infant School in Shirley.

It says:

“URGENT MESSAGE

Dear Parents

I am sorry to report there have been two further incidents of children being inappropriately approached by strangers.

Last evening two Widney children were approached by an elderly man. This morning some Lode Heath girls were subject to sexually suggestive comments.

The children are safe. We have talked to our children about stranger danger and emphasised how important it is to stay by your grown up and not run off.

Please be extra vigilant and report any concerns to school or directly to the police.

Thank you.”
