World War Two bomb taken in to Solihull Police Station

Touchwood Shopping Centre was evacuated today and Homer Road was closed due to an unexploded bomb taken into Solihull Police Station by a local resident.
The shopping centre was closed while police assessed the risk of the device – it was much lower than originally thought and just the station remained evacuated while a bomb disposal team went in.
Army bomb disposal experts removed what they identified as a WWII Luftwaffe incendiary.
