Police continue hunt for gunman who shot 15-year-old boy and man in broad daylight in Solihull
Police are analysing forensic evidence and trawling CCTV in a bid to track down a gunman who shot a 15-year-old boy and a man in a shocking broad daylight attack in Solihull.
The shooter shot his victims on Warwick Road, Olton, at around 4.30pm on Saturday 11 May, but police say they are still hunting the gunman and haven’t made any arrests.
The teenager and a 35-year-old man received leg injuries and were taken to hospital but both have been discharged.
Police previously said they believed the two victims were deliberately targeted and appealed for information. The gunman made off in a vehicle after shooting the victims.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing in relation to Warwick Road incident.
“Officers are currently looking at forensic evidence and trawling CCTV footage.”
