Teenager stabbed in second Chelmsley Wood knife attack in 24 hours
A teenager was stabbed in the back in Chelmsley Wood in the area’s second knife attack in 24 hours.
The bleeding 19-year-old staggered into Bosworth Medical Centre in Crabtree Drive after the attack – which happened just after 2pm on Wednesday (03/08).
The victim was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening.
Local residents claimed the attack was part of a ‘long-running gang feud’.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said officers were combing CCTV in a bid to gain vital evidence.
He added: “The victim, a 19-year-old man, suffered slash wounds to the back.
“It is not life-threatening and we are continuing with our enquiries.”
