Boston Tea Party to open in Solihull

Boston Tea Party are opening their latest café in Solihull this March.

The Bristol-based company will unveil its 21st cafe in the former Ebb & Flow site on Herbert Road in Solihull town centre.

Renovations are underway to complete the new café and it’s due to open in March creating 30 new jobs for the town, and offering a spacious, 130-seated restaurant with a further 30 seats in the outside courtyard.

Boston Tea Party’s family-friendly cafes serve up a range of ethically sourced food and drink – including its award-winning brunch and breakfasts, homemade cakes, lunches and main meals alongside specialty coffees and loose-leaf teas.

Sam Roberts, Managing Director of Boston Tea Party, said: “We’ve been on the look-out for a site in Solihull for a few years now, and are over the moon to finally be opening.

“Our ethos is that bigger isn’t always better, the aim has always been to develop inviting cafés in buildings with character that are there to be discovered, recommended and visited regularly.

“Each and every one of our premises has been designed to create a social hub that keeps the tradition of British cafés alive as a place to meet, share good food and enjoy great company.

“We are looking forward to serving the community great food and drink at any time of day in a welcoming space.”

BTP are now recruiting for staff to fill the 30 full and part-time positions, with front of house, chef and barista roles available. Anyone interested in applying should send a current CV and a covering letter detailing which role they are applying for to: solihull@bostonteaparty.co.uk

Boston Tea Party already operates 20 thriving cafes across the South West and Midlands, and this will be the fourth café in the Birmingham area for the group, with other sites on Corporation Street in Birmingham, Edgbaston and Harborne.
