Teenagers arrested after boy threatened with hammer in Solihull

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbery this afternoon (21st March) after a teenage boy was threatened with a hammer and had his phone stolen.
The 18 and 17-year-old were arrested by police officers on Blossomfield Road near Alderbrook School and a hammer has been recovered from the scene.
The road was blocked at the time of the incident, when pupils were leaving school for the day – it has since been fully reopened.
Both teenagers remain in police custody this evening.
