Touchwood set to ‘turn it down’ in support of autism hour

On Monday 2nd October, Touchwood will join businesses and shops across the UK in taking simple steps to create a more autism-friendly world in support of The National Autistic Society’s Autism Hour.

At 10am, Touchwood and its retailers will be dimming lights and turning down music to help raise awareness of how small changes can make a big difference for autistic people and their families when out and about.

Touchwood will also be sharing information with its team of staff to enable them to further enhance the experience of the centre for customers with autism.

Andy Cole MBE, General Manager of Touchwood, said: “At Touchwood we are committed to offering all guests the best possible shopping and leisure experience, which is why we are delighted to be supporting The National Autistic Society’s Autism Hour.

“We encourage all of our guests and partners throughout the borough to join us is raising awareness of this important cause.”
